There is a type of person that, in a conversation, can either talk in one way or another. Example:

Conversation 1:
Dude: "So, how's life?"
Person: "Yea. Good."

Conversation 2:
Dude: "So, how's Bakuman (manga)?"
Person: "Yea man! It's sooo cool! Yea you should totally read it! Blablablablabla..."

Sometimes, you have to find topics that interests your conversation partner(s). Or else it will be a one way conversation with a ratio of 5 sentences: 1 word. Trust me, it's awkward. Very awkward. In these situations, the best thing to do is go: "I need to go somewhere soon. See ya later!" *Run away quickly* Its OK to run, because:

The other person will be running away in the opposite direction to you. And the last thing they want is to see you.
